My Daily LifeWave X39 Routine: The Protocol I Run at 50

Testimonial/editorial given by a LifeWave brand partner with financial interest in promoting the product. This shows how I personally structure a routine — it’s not a promise of any result for you. Anyone can stick a patch on for a day. The more useful question is what a consistent routine looks like with everything else that matters around it. So here is the actual routine I run at 50 — the daily habits, where the patch fits, and the training and recovery that do the real work.

Key Takeaways

  • The routine is built on fundamentals first; the X39 is a small habit on top.
  • Training is lifting every second day, plus 10,000+ steps daily.
  • Cold plunge, sauna and steam most days.
  • Nutrition basics: protein, creatine, omega-3, vitamin D, electrolytes, magnesium.
  • X39 is a general-wellness patch — not a recovery or performance treatment.
  • Consistency is the active ingredient in any routine.

What does a day look like?

  • Every day: a fresh X39 patch; five PerfectAmino tablets fasted in the morning and five later; 10g of creatine; omega-3 and vitamin D; Perform electrolytes; 10,000+ steps; magnesium before bed.
  • Every second day: a lifting session using the RP Hypertrophy app.
  • Most days: cold plunge, sauna and steam.
  • Tracking: WHOOP daily and a Hume Body Pod scan monthly.

The patch is the smallest part of that list. I tie it to something I already do every day so I don’t forget it, and follow the pack instructions. For application mechanics, see my how to use X39 guide.

How is the training structured?

This is where the real work happens. I lift every second day — one of the most important things any of us can do for ageing well — and hit 10,000+ steps daily on top. The X39 doesn’t change my programming, and I don’t credit it with my training. It’s a separate general-wellness habit.

What about recovery?

Recovery comes from sleep, food and sensible programming — see why recovery takes twice as long at 50. Cold plunge, sauna and steam are part of my week, but they’re not medical treatments either, and anyone with a heart condition or high blood pressure should check with a doctor before trying cold or heat exposure. X39 is not a recovery product.

What would I claim about the patch?

Only LifeWave’s description: a non-transdermal, general-wellness phototherapy patch that gently stimulates the skin with light to support the body’s natural energy flow for strength and stamina. With everything else in my routine, I can’t separate any effect of the patch from the rest — so I won’t pretend to. I keep it because it takes seconds and fits the routine. Frequently asked questions

How do I remember to apply it?

Tie it to a habit you already do daily, and keep spares where you’ll see them.

Do I need cold plunges and sauna too?

No — those are separate parts of my routine. Check with your doctor before cold or heat exposure if you have a heart or blood pressure condition.

Can I run this routine as a beginner?

Start with the fundamentals — training, sleep, protein, steps — and build from there.

What about Cellergize?

LifeWave pairs X39 with Cellergize Morning in the Cellular Performance System; it’s optional.

Will I get the same results?

No one can promise that. Individual experiences vary and aren’t evidence of results.

Does X39 improve recovery or performance?

No such claim is made. X39 is a non-transdermal, general-wellness phototherapy patch that gently stimulates the skin with light to support the body’s natural energy flow for strength and stamina. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
