Today is Sunday, February 1st, and honestly… it was a fairly boring day.
And that’s exactly why it matters.
I got up, did what I always do, and didn’t try to reinvent anything.
First thing in the morning:
- Perfect Amino
- My shake with NMN, beta-alanine, and creatine
- Omega-3
- Vitamin D
- Hydration started early
No drama. No decision fatigue. Just habits.
The morning was mostly running errands — bringing Kleona, the kids, and my mom shopping. Normal family stuff. Life stuff.
I had lunch.
I trained.
I worked.
I got a full-body workout done, then spent a chunk of the day building an app I’m really excited about — something very specific, very niche, and something I’m actively refining. Quiet progress, but meaningful progress.
Food-wise, nothing fancy:
- Steak for lunch
- Steak again for dinner
- A Huel Black shake alongside it
I did have a couple of slices of homemade bread today — the first bread I’ve had in about two weeks. Made properly, with eggs, not the ultra-processed rubbish you get in shops. No guilt. No spiral. Just awareness and moving on.
And that was the day.
Nothing sexy.
Nothing extreme.
Nothing worth bragging about.
But here’s the thing…
This Is How Everything Is Built
Most people are waiting for motivation.
Most people are chasing excitement.
Most people quit because the days start to feel repetitive.
But this — this boring, repetitive, disciplined rhythm — is how real success is built.
In fitness.
In business.
In health.
In life.
You stack the mundane.
You repeat what works.
You stop negotiating with yourself.
And one day you look back and think:
How the f**k did I get here?
Not because of one big day.
Not because of one massive breakthrough.
But because you showed up when nothing exciting was happening.
Tomorrow Matters
Tomorrow is my first weigh-in since starting this journey last Monday.
I’ll check my weight.
I’ll check my body metrics.
I’ll see what’s changed after a full week of consistency.
And whatever the numbers say, I already know one thing for sure:
I won the week — because I didn’t quit on the boring days.
That’s the lesson today.
Do the same shit that works.
Over and over.
Until your future self thanks you.
Day 7 done.
